William is an ABC Board Certified prosthetist orthotist who has been in the field for over 40 years. The founder and president of Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center, William studied at Ohio University and UCLA.
William’s father was an amputee who originally started an Orthotic-Prosthetic Center practice and how William got involved in the field. William’s life passion and specialty are working with lower and upper limb amputees.
William is a competitive tennis player and skier. He is married to his wife Maureen of 43 years and has six children and twelve grandchildren.
John is an ABC Board Certified prosthetist orthotist who has been working at Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center for over 40 years. John studied at Harmarville.
John’s interest in orthotics and prosthetics grew at a young age after having suffered multiple spinal compression fractures. John’s life passion and specialty is working with the pediatrics population. He regularly attends pediatric orthopedic and neurological clinics and works closely with world-renowned physicians.
John has a master’s degree in taekwondo and loves teaching at the martial arts college that he trains at. John has been married more than 30 years to his wife Gayle (who is a physical therapist) and has two children and three grandchildren.
Paul is a third-generation leader in the field of orthotics and prosthetics and the proud grandson of our company’s founder. As an ABC Board Certified Prosthetist Orthotist with over 15 years of clinical experience, Paul brings a deep personal and professional passion to helping patients regain mobility and live full, active lives.
His commitment to the field began at a young age, inspired by his grandfather—a transfemoral amputee and pioneer in prosthetic innovation. Paul earned his undergraduate degree at Miami University and completed his orthotics and prosthetics training at the renowned Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

He is especially known for designing customized, high-performance prosthetics for athletes and children with complex needs. Whether treating a child born with limb difference or an adult seeking a better fit or performance with their prosthesis, Paul brings an unmatched combination of clinical expertise and real-world understanding.
Outside the clinic, Paul is a lifelong athlete and adventurer. He has biked across the United States, trekked to Mount Everest Base Camp, and completed multiple Ironman triathlons. His active lifestyle fuels his passion for helping amputees return to sports, recreation, and everyday life with confidence.
Paul and his wife, Christina, live in Ohio with their three young children. He is committed to continuing the family legacy by leading Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center with compassion, innovation, and excellence in patient care.
Chris is an ABC certified orthotist and has been with Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center for over 20 years. Specializing in lower extremity orthotics, Chris is an extremely dedicated team player, and his positive, hard-working attitude shows in his work. He always demonstrates compassion for his patients. With his experience, he is able to work with a wide variety of orthotic patients and enhance the care that he and Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center are able to provide within the community.
Dan, ABC Certified and Ohio Licensed Orthotist, represents the third generation of orthotic specialists, following his late father, George Cole, and his late great-uncle, Joseph Bulach.
Daniel started working with his father when he was 15. Not fully realizing what career he wanted to pursue after high school he earned a degree in computer programming sciences, though his passion remained working with patients requiring orthotic care. He went on to acquire his certification in orthotics from Northwestern University.
Daniel’s hobbies include riding electric unicycles and motorcycles, flying drones, and working on his vintage 1957 Chevy truck. Daniel has three children: Matthew, Scott, and Christi. His loving son, Matthew, went to heaven in 2008. His son, Scott, retired from the Air Force in February 2023 and is now employed with Lockheed Martin. His daughter, Christi, is a special education teacher employed at a school in Michigan.
Bryan is an ABC Board Certified prosthetist orthotist with nearly seven years of experience. He received his Master’s of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics at Eastern Michigan University in 2017. His passion for healthcare began as a teenager with over 13 years of experience in physical therapy working as a PT technician. Bryan was also a certified personal trainer for 10 years.
Bryan has experience in both upper extremity and lower extremity prosthetic care utilizing microprocessor technology as well as orthotic care utilizing the latest technology for fabrication and design. He believes a team approach to treating his patients is paramount, working closely with the physician, PTs, and OTs to provide the best outcomes possible.
Hunting, fishing, camping, and exercise are among Bryan’s hobbies. He is married with two young sons.
Kevin is an ABC Board Certified Prosthetist who has been working in the field for more than 40 years. He will be seeing patients at our Niles office. Kevin received his undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation from The University of Memphis, and a degree in Prosthetic Sciences from Shelby State College.
His passion for prosthetics grew from his desire to help people regain mobility and activity levels that they never thought possible.
Kevin and his wife Lynda have been married for over 40 years, have five children, with four grandchildren. Kevin is an avid bowler and enjoys bowling in the winter months.
Taylor is an ABC Certified Pedorthist and Orthotic Technician dedicated to improving patients’ lives through compassionate care and precise, hands-on work. She began her professional journey in engineering school with a focus on prosthetic design, but after entering the orthotics and prosthetics field as a technician, she discovered her true calling.
She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with plans to continue into a master’s program in Orthotics and Prosthetics. Taylor is passionate about combining innovation with direct patient care and is committed to making a lasting impact in the field.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys learning new hobbies such as hunting and farming with her other half, Austin. She also enjoys woodworking, fishing, crafting, and caring for her parrot, horse, and dog.
Alison Crawford has joined Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center as our Operations Manager. She brings over 20 years of healthcare experience, including 16 years in practice management and clinic operations across multi-site physician practices. Alison has a strong background in operational leadership, revenue cycle management, budgeting, compliance, and team development, with a proven track record of improving efficiency, staff engagement, and patient experience.
She is currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in healthcare at Southern New Hampshire University and plans to pursue her MBA in Healthcare Administration.
Alison lives in Norwalk, Ohio with her husband and children and is actively involved in her community. She currently serves as President of the Norwalk City School District Board of Education, where she provides leadership in governance, strategic planning, and community engagement.
Brad Thompson is an ABC Certified Orthotic Fitter. He brings over 12 years of experience in the field of orthotics and medical devices to Leimkuehler, and a lifetime of interest in orthopedics.
He received his undergraduate degrees in American History and Modern Languages (Spanish) from the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) where he was a scholarship member of its Division I Soccer program. After graduating from VMI, Brad earned a master’s degree in American History from John Carroll University. For the next four years, he taught American History at Valley Forge Military Academy & College in Wayne, Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Susie, returned to Cleveland, where they began their family, and he ran a successful medical device distributorship. During this time, he also earned an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
His passion for wanting to help others was instilled in him at an early age, as he often accompanied his now retired, father, George H. Thompson M.D., an internationally renowned Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon, at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, as he saw patients.
Brad and Susie live in University Heights with their two daughters, Raelynn and Lillian.
Karen is an ABC Certified orthotic assistant & technician. With Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center for over 14 years, she specializes in very technical custom orthotic fabrication. Karen is a native to Ohio and graduated from Mount Union University where she played varsity basketball. She is extremely active, regularly participating in Tough Mudder competitions.
A prosthetic technician with Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center since 2017, Jude attended Baker College where he studied orthotic and prosthetic technical skills. He has taken the skills he has learned from our senior technicians and applies them to produce the best quality prostheses and orthoses for our patients. He has been an amputee most of his life and has been coming to Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center since he was a young child. Jude is a very active amputee and loves to play games and hang out with his family.
Billy Weaver, a resident of Southington, Ohio, became part of Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center in 2025 as a Prosthetic & Orthotic Technician. He works with both upper and lower prosthetics and takes pride in using his technical skills to improve the quality of life for patients.
Sports have always been an important part of Billy’s life. He plays wheelchair basketball and sled hockey, and he follows the Cleveland Guardians and Cavaliers with enthusiasm. Away from athletics, he enjoys ice cream, watching action, science fiction, and comedy movies, and he recalls meeting Mike Tyson as a standout memory. Above all, Billy treasures time with his kids.
What Billy appreciates most about his role at Leimkuehler is being able to help people live as fully and independently as possible.
Diane is the office manager with Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center. She specializes in billing and management, she has worked at Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center for over 25 years.
Josh Green is an Amputee Care and Outreach Coordinator dedicated to supporting and empowering individuals with limb loss. Having been a right above-knee amputee since the age of four, Josh has firsthand experience with the challenges and triumphs of living with a prosthesis. His passion for sports is evident as he has excelled in golf, basketball, and baseball, and plays wheelchair football for the Browns. Josh’s unique perspective and athletic background make him an inspiring advocate and resource in the amputee community.
A native Ohioan, originally from east Toledo, Mark moved to North Carolina in his 20’s where he received his associate degree in applied science, Medical Office Administration. Mark then worked at Atrium Wake Forrest Baptist Hospital in the Neurology Clinic as a patient representative. After a year, he became an insurance referral representative and began working at the Bariatric and Weight Management Clinic at the same hospital.
Linda brings over four decades of experience in the medical field, beginning her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a hospital setting. Over the years, she transitioned into medical office roles and eventually into healthcare management and administration. For the past 25 years, she has successfully managed several hospital-based primary care and multi-specialty practices.
She has a deep-rooted passion for patient-centered care and is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of the individuals she serves. Her approach is grounded in compassion, empathy, and a commitment to building strong patient relationships. At Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center, Linda looks forward to supporting patients and contributing to the team’s success.
Outside of work, Linda enjoys spending time with her family, especially her seven grandchildren. She and her husband love traveling to the Caribbean, with St. John, US Virgin Islands being one of their favorite destinations.
April Kleinfelter serves as Office Administrator at Leimkuehler’s Sandusky office, bringing 13 years of experience in health care to her role. Originally from Northport, New York, she now resides in Vermilion, Ohio.
Outside of the office, April enjoys crafting and baking, with tiramisu being her favorite dessert. She is a fan of the Buffalo Sabres, treasures her best vacation to the Pacific Northwest, and once had the memorable experience of meeting Robin Williams.
For April, the best part of working at Leimkuehler is the people—both her coworkers and the patients she interacts with every day.
Jacki loves her position at Cole Leimkuehler. She works as an office administrator and assists with babies being fit with cranial helmets. With an education in social work, Jacki joined Cole in 2015. She enjoys the patient interaction and being a part of a team that provides excellent care and supports their mobility goals.
Jacki enjoys spending time with her two children, coaching her daughter’s softball and volleyball teams, and cooking.
