When you choose to have your orthotic or prosthetic care at Leimkuehler Orthotic-Prosthetic Center, you can be assured that you are being seen by practitioners licensed by the state of Ohio and who are certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC).
To become certified, individuals must possess a master’s college degree, complete a two-year residency program and pass a six-part exam, which also includes an assessment of clinical skills. The ABC certification is renewed at the end of a five-year cycle after the minimum number of continuing education requirements are earned.
