Paul E. Leimkuehler Online Learning Center

The Paul E. Leimkuehler Online Learning Center was dedicated in 2005 at the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium.

It was named to honor the legacy of the late Paul E. Leimkuehler, the founder of what was then called the Leimkuehler Limb Company in 1948. An amputee himself from the Battle of the Bulge in World War II, he was a strong proponent for continuous lifelong learning. He frequently lectured doctors and nurses on advances in prosthetics and shared his knowledge with colleagues, referral sources and patients alike.

Today, Bill Leimkuehler and his son, Paul, continue the family legacy with O&P offices in Amherst, Sandusky and No. Olmsted.
